Julia found yoga in 2013 here at Akasha Vacaville with Krista Masters. From that moment on, yoga has remained in Julia’s life as a source of healing, relaxation, inspiration, joy, self-growth, and transformation.

Wanting to further her understanding of yoga philosophy and her personal practice, she received her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification in Fall of 2016 and has been teaching ever since. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Holistic Healing from SF State and a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in School Psychology from Sac State.

When not practicing or teaching yoga, her time is filled with raising a couple of little humans and working as a school psychologist. In addition to yoga, Julia enjoys teaching barre class.

In her yoga classes, Julia hopes to provide a safe place for people to journey through self-exploration in their body, mind and spirit. Although a teacher, she is a forever a student of this practice.
