DBT Skills.
Practical tools for real life.
An evidence-based class for people who understand themselves well but still find themselves reactive, overwhelmed, or stuck in the same patterns. Learn the skills that bridge insight and action.
Four skill modules, eight weeks, a full set of tools.
DBT was developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan and is one of the most researched frameworks in modern psychotherapy. This class teaches the four core skill modules in a structured, psychoeducational format — not group therapy, but skills training you can use immediately in daily life.
Focus the mind, build insight, and notice what’s happening before you react. The foundational skill everything else rests on.
Understand how emotions work, reduce vulnerability to emotional spikes, and change painful emotions you don’t want to keep feeling.
Get through crisis moments without making them worse. Tools for when the situation can’t be fixed and you still need to stay grounded.
Ask for what you need, set limits, and maintain self-respect — without damaging the relationships that matter to you.
If you’ve done the work and still feel reactive, this class is for you.
- + You understand your patterns intellectually but still get hijacked by strong emotions.
- + You find yourself cycling between over-functioning and shutting down.
- + Conflicts with partners, family, or coworkers leave you depleted and second-guessing.
- + You swing between extremes — all-in or completely withdrawn, rigid or chaotic.
- + You want tools you can actually use, not more theory.

This class is facilitated by a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with training in attachment-based, trauma-informed, and somatic approaches. Groups are structured, warm, and paced for real learning — with time each week to practice the skills, not just learn about them.
The class is psychoeducational and open to adults who want concrete skills for emotional regulation and relationships. Individual therapy is not a prerequisite, but is often complementary.
Take the next step toward fewer reactive moments and more intentional ones.
